Ok, I've loved the stuff I see in here, and I wanted to try to make my own. Im still working on it so advise and criticism

I loved the Brawn fig after I picked him up, but I thought that the 2 open parts to show the mech alive parts was stupid, so I tried filling them.

I started by drilling 2 hole in each side to put the LEDs

The next problem was the lump to allow the shoulders to set, I was trying avoid taking it apart, but I didnt have a choice.

Here is another shot. The holes would have been easier to drill if I had taken it apart, I will do better next time.

I need some ideas to help diffuse the light. I also got a 3v Coin Cell to mount on the "wings" for the power source. I will post more pics when i get that fixed up.

Ooh looks cool. For diffusion try clear plastic cut to size, then on the inside (side that the LEDs hit) smear a thin layer of clear or yellow-clear epoxy on it like peanut butter. That will dry and cure to a nice translucent finish. You just gotta come up with the way to mount the 'windows' and you're set.

A lazy method could be to sand the LED surface with sandpaper, roughly 800 grit.

Another way is to dremel the round LED top flat, but take care not to damage the lighted components.

Sweet! Brawn has plenty of room for lights in there, ad I agree that windows in the chest would look fantastic! I just gave him an led for his eyes and am busy painting as we speak!

LED's are always a win, a simple fix would be clear superglue and put it in the little alcove-ish area the LED's are in. You can also sharpie yellow over it to give it a nice finish.

Very cool. Mech alive, auto morph, etc. crappy gimmicks. LED lights in TF like this are awesome.
