    PLEASE GO TO:reeves83.deviantart.com/art/WIP-BAYFORMER-RODIMUS-127519726

THIS IS PRETTY MUCH THE FINISHED DESIGN IM GOING FOR WITH RODIMUS. ONCE FINISHED I'LL PROB TRY FLYWHEELS AND ENTER WHICH EVER ONE COMES OUT BEST. ANY CRITS BEFORE I FINISH THE BOT AND INK WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
DID ORIGINALLY HAVE HIS BONNET WHOLE FOR THE CHEST BUT DECIDED EVENTUALLY TO SPLIT IT UP SO HE HAS MORE MOBILITY.
HE'S BASED (OOPS didn't notice caps lock) on the classics Rodimus design. Unfortunately can only colour the flats as colouring aint my strong point but was thinking of having him blue with 'ice-blue' flames (think hotshot energon) since Bay hates red so much.
Thanks for looking and don't be afraid to be brutal. Brutality helps me learn :)

To be honest if I thought for a second that my design could be used in the movie I would probably use a more familiar and modern car. However, as this is just for fun I figured I'd stick with the modified 'Dome Zero'. Personally it jut seems the perfect alt mode for him. It's a real car yet still looks G1ish and futuristic (which is kinda weird as it's a very old model).

    Glad you like it

That's really cool. If you want to get really technical, you can do a closeup on the face and break it up to able to give a wide range of emotion, though figuring out all of the shifting plates might lead to a colossal headache.
