    ... well, not "a masterpiece" but since I'm trying to make something that will fit with MMP Bumblebee, Starscream and Buster Prime on display, I think that's the better way to refer to it.

    I finished the biggest part on this guy today. He still need sanding in some areas and then will come the painting stage (I have so many bots to paint I'm afraid to start).

    Features:

    - Neck on balljoint;
    - Removable mouthplate held by friction (no more lever at the back of the head);
    - Head LED wires and related trigger button now on the nape;
    - Custom articulated hands (wrists and fingers) using some details from Ironhide's ones;
    - Panel kibbles switched from below the arms to the backpack (they attach to the inside of the windshield part by custom made hinges/sliding hinges assemblies);
    - Right knee now has 3 positions instead of 2;
    - The hood from the left arm cannon now stay closed when upside down;
    - Removable custom addon parts for the right arm cannon (friction and magnets);
    - Removable custom made cannon for left arm (friction and magnet);
    - Some fixes and tweaks here and there to enhance the transformation and the overall look.

    Oh and yeah, I know, the figure is all dirty/dusty, sorry but I just finished working on it and didn't feel like washing it right now since I still have to sand down a few things.

    Awesome, Love the cannons!

    Could you give a hint how you fixed the hood on his left arm?

    This is looking awesome!

    Why only the right knee? I was looking at the knees on mine yesterday and plan to do some cutting so the legs can get straighter...

    Thanks!

    It's hard to take a picture of it but I glued a really tiny magnet on the tip of the pin in the middle of the hood and a small piece of metal on the inside of the part where the cannon folds in.

    The whole thing holds pretty well. :)

    What I did was to allow his right knee to bend more for more action poses (I like his proportions with legs not fully straight actually). I wanted to give it 4 positions like the left one but it seemed like that would have made the whole knee part really fragile so I went for a good balance between posability and sturdyness.

    Neat :) . The weapons don't stay connected into vehicle mode, do they?

    great mods! how 'bout some closeups of those trick kibble hinges or wip shots? I'd love to replicate something like that, I'm doing something similar with magnets, but to make it transforming is much better!

    I played with him last night and now I understand what you mean. I didn't realize the knees were different like that, good eye!

    Thanks everyone!

    The addon parts for the right cannon and the left cannon must be removed for transformation, they're way too big to fit inside the arms cavity, even if I removed the original small cannons.

    I could have make them connectable to the vehicle mode like on ROTF Voyager IH but I'm not a big fan of armed vehicle modes.

    Will this do the trick? It's pretty ugly right before sanding and painting but it works. :p

    They're from the cockpit pieces on his arms. If you take a look at the pics in J.T. Silversmith's Jet Prime tutorial, you can see where they're located...

    Thanks again!

    And thanks htrun because I didn't really remember where the Jetfire's hinges were from exactly. :p

    Currently washing the figure, I hope it'll be dry enough to start painting tomorrow.

    Thanks!

    Thanks but, what good cuts exactly? I used a rotary tool and a hobby knive but I sanded almost every of them.
