    FINISHED TFA Sky-Byte

    Update 3-23-11: Finished it!

My apologies for the less than stellar quality. This was rather thrown together, the lines are unclear, a far cry from much of the rest of my art posted. I really just put it together to show that a TFA Voyager Lugnut retool-into-Skybyte is entire feasible, and would look rather awesome.

Some of you might ask "Why Lugnut?" Well in the AA2, Jim Sorenson drew a Skybyte concept head and said it would go on a Lugnut body. I didn't like the head so much, but I liked the idea, so I designed my own head.

Maybe one day I'll clean up the lines...IF i can remember the proper settings for lining in PS! le sigh

anyways, enjoy! comment, leave constructive feedback, etc!

UPDATE 3/25- Special thanks to our very own UTF for taking the time to clean up the lines for me- without even being asked!- as I don't have much time to focus on this myself. Thanks again UTF!!!

    I dub thee "Nut-Byter". :p

Sorry, had to do it. The colors look kinda cool. If he had the "angry face" painted on the nose of the plane like Atomic Lugnut (and a lot of old war planes), it'd be perfect.

I like the colours and the arms, this could make a cool custom whether pic or real. Keep going

Not bad, better than the AA2's Sky-byte, but I still prefer Derrick J Wyatt's design.

Oh I couldn't agree more...but the odds of us getting THAT toy? Impossible, haha.

Therefore I just went with Jim Sorenson's idea of "Lugnut to Skybyte" and ran with it. Chances of us getting that toy go up 5%... chance of me repainting and kitbashing myself...up about 80%.

I'll find time to finish the head SOMEDAY, I promise.
