Hey guys.. been a while since i had made any progress on making customs.. anyway, i just wanted to share one of my recent customs:
a leader class robot replica of jetfire.. i figured i make one, since once again i was not able to get the leader class figure.

*everything is completely scratchbuilt(no cybertronians were harmed in the making of this custom.. =P)
*i rearranged it from latest to oldest for convenience purposes.. =)

been doing a lot of trial and error lately, since its really hard to fin d parts to fit the figure to make him as movie accurate as possible

Update: bulked him up and built his arms from some leftover lego joints and some other stuff.

Man this is looking great! I would however cut back on the hot glue, I've seen some pretty amazing customs drawn back because once they're painted I looks gloppy and weird :S

it is looking really good so far.. one complaint if i may, i would have went bigger. he is at least around 50-60ft in the movie, much taller than Optimus or Megatron.

either way, a totally scratch built Jetfire any scale is awesome! keep it up!

thanks man.. yeah, i would really like to make him a lot bigger, maybe in the supreme class, if possible. but i figured it would cost a lot and im currently on a very tight budget.. so i guess i'll just have to try to make him a tall as possible, without distorting his proportions..

At least it will be in scale with the Voyager characters like Optimus, and Deluxes like Ironhide and Ratchet.
