Hey guys, I've had this concept in my head for quite a while. I wanted to get it done for the contest over on sector70 but frankly it just wasn't feasible..

Birthdays, Mother's day, parents visiting, etc, etc.. It all got in the way of getting some customs done.
But finally today I had some free time and hit this one pretty hard.

It's still a work in progress.. But take a look.
Please note it's not done, still gotta put paint the front rims, paint the body of the bot, add some blue, and then decide on some fine details.

    Thanks for lookin!

Dude that is freakin' siiiick. Great look on this chick. Some of the pics make me think the plastic is red, meaning it's not painting. No chance you dyed it? Mainly the legs are what's tripping me out

Love me some Gobots!! Nicely done. I'm waiting to see someone do an updated Turbo with the Sideswipe mold or something.

haha.. nope no dye.. all like 95% airbrush. :)

Knees, gimmick arm and head had to be hand done.

If you look on the side where the panels all flip in to make the hip kibble you can see where I had to sand it away in order to get it to stop chipping paint.
Now just to go back and touch up the parts that I chipped trying to re-pin her.. :)

Actually I've got a turbo planned.. Just need to find the alt mode that makes me feel content... I've already got the proper body. :)
    So stay tuned! :)

I think the side panels might look good folded over the front of the thighs, and the back panels folded down. I know Smallfoot was a tomboy and all, but for the sake of seeing it, would you mind?

I'll give it a try when I pull her out later. She's in alt mode due the the pics right now.

I certainly wouldn't mind giving that a shot though!

That's hot. It's just too bad you didn't get a chance to enter it into S70. I had another entry in mind for the contest myself, but time would not allow for me to finish, so I opted for something a little easier. Did you still enter something else? I can't remember if you did anyway or not.

Indeed I did! I'll be interested to see what you entered!

No reason to be sorry. :)
It's TFTM Jolt. I tried to basically give away the fig for a dollar in my sale thread and nobody wanted it.. SO now I'm using the head for small foot and the body for another project. :)

How have I not seen this until now?

AWESOME work... I think I might have to snag a deluxe Ratchet and give this a try myself.

    :D

    I'm glad you like it!
I need to go back and finish it..
I'm having problems with the blue paint I plan to use on another figure, so I don't want it anywhere near my precious smallfoot until I can figure out the right mix of paint and thinner.

I absolutely love this custom. I have found myself almost buying a Ratchet myself. Great work :thumb

yeah, this is great. I'm not really a fan of that Ratchet mold (too busy) but it makes a nice Movie-style Smallfoot.

(You probably should have waited for the white and red repaint that's coming, heh heh.)

The funny thing is I wanted nothing to do with the mold until I watched a video review and it hit me that the placement of car parts was "right" enough for smallfoot. :)
Now if I can get off my rear and finish painting her that'd be great.. Stupid being lazy.. :)

Well.. Waiting wouldn't have helped me much any since the whole body got painted. The only thing it might have saved was a few coats of paint.. But honestly the yellow wasn't too bad to work with (and makes it easy to see where paint chipped when I re-pinned her).

Didn't think Ratchet would work as an update for Small Foot. The chest grill certainly helps. Looks like you got the most that you can from combining Movie and non-Movie parts.
