So after months of working on this guy I think I'm finally ready to paint it. I just need to clean it up and, hopefully I don't mess it up when I paint. Any recommendation on cleaning up wip progress customs would help. I have putty in places that are hard to get. I'm hoping to begin the long painting process this week... however, I' missing one thing... the cannon!

Looking great so far! is there a way to connect his tank treads to the bottom of his arms a bit more securely in bot mode?

That mold is SO nice. I love the anime styled shoulder pads! The whole thing just plain fits, and you'd never think kitbash.

    That's gonna be awesome!

Non-existent; Galvatron uses a particle accelerator cannon, not a fusion cannon. ;)

This is an incredible piece of work - he looks positively monstrous!
Can't wait to see him completed. :)

If you are having trouble getting some of the excess putty in sharp corners. Then what I did was go to home depot and bought a set of files intended for chainsaw maintenance. The files are incredibly small, and are perfect for getting into sharp corners.

I'm currently looking for one along with the cannon holder on ebay... a G1 cannons runs high (as you know).

The cannon treads are pretty secure.

I'm not sure yet. I've looked at the G1 cartoon, Japanese anime version, and the IDW comic version. I might do a combo of each. I like a dark purple for the main parts but will see.
    I guess I'll know soon.

I got some files, they are pretty thin. Maybe if doesn't work I'll try picking up the home depot files. I used a razor on some parts it's seems to be working... it's going to take awhile. But thanks for the help.
