I was released yesterday from the hospital and i returned home to a project i was really aching to make .
took 4 hrs ,and its not yet finished ,i dont know if i can call it a re shell , but g1 roller is a shell ;)

thig guy will b a bonus item to my pmop -articulated
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/292715-wip-articulating-power-master-op.html

he is made from g1 roller and movie legends jazz

jazz came in a huge junker lot i got froma great guy called big-D , came without the roof
    roller was a bargin from blushift26 at moonbase2 - for 2gbp shipping included :)

i striped all the car shape from jazz and removed the head ,cut roller into 5 pieces - i used hobby knife and lots of patience
added a rare earth magnet to the legs for better aligment

the arms were a huge PITA the glue didnt want to cure ....

i need some advice on which head to use ?
    g1 hubcap
    or
    realgear video camera guy ?

i go in favor of hubcap it suits the g1 look and the head is " more " proportional to the body , the other head makes him look like a dwarf :)

roller wil have his gas pump as a weapon and a radar dish as a shield

    C&C please

and sorry for the crappy pics - my reading lamp broke today

This is nice, looking forward to the final version, I like the second one, although it does look evil

A transforming G1 Roller? Now I've seen it all... :lol

Like you, I'd go with Hubcap's head. IMO The proportions work alot better than that realgear head. Plus, it's G1 all the way baby! :D

NICE!! I have TFC Battle Rollar, but detail and design doesn't quite match the classic G1 style. And it's too big. I like yours because you kept original G1 size and style. And it can fit inside G1 Prime's trailer. That is cool.

Looks good I'd go with Hubcaps head for the G1 look.

    Interesting...

The Hubcap head matches the proportions better, but seeing as how Roller is essentially Prime's drone/familiar/extension, how about something that reflects that?

Like a small Prime-like head like ROTF Rollbar... or would that be too big? Maybe a legends-scale Prime head? Or, on the other end of the spectrum, something more like a cyclops or camera-head?

I think the second head would be good. Fits with the drone aspect of Roller.

I like the first head more G1, more autobot, you need to save whoever's head that is in the second pic for a custom Reflector.

    tnx alot guys

well reproin it will b a PITA
and the cost will b high , i dont think that people will pay 40-50$ for a scout figure .
if u want one i can always share the way i did mine or make u one :)

u mentioned camera head that exactly why i went with the real gear head , a mini prime is a neat idea .

but on the buttom line i think i'll continue searching for a better head for him , but i'm still leaning on hubcap to preserve the g1 look, and proportion wise the realgear head is to big .

Looking good! but I would get a file to get at some of those rough spots. I'm with smog on the head.

The video cam head looks like somehow dinobot from beastwars got his head stuffed on roller. :)

i think be easier for you to make me one, and i would pay 40 to 50 dollars for him with no problems.

Also l really like the real gear head. It just seems to fit roller better to have more of a robotic look than your standard tf
