His alt mode is kind of up in the air at the moment, but I believe he will be a
Cybertronian Surveillance console where he monitors the sensor probes that
the Decepticons have scattered all over Cybertron. Also he can turn into his
lamp post self seen in the G1 toon.

I am using a head from a G1 Action Master, this is my first attempt at modifying
a figure so greatly, and scratch building parts, I modified Classics Jetfire into
Silverbolt by moving the wings and shifting a few parts to different places, but
    as far as scratch building....no.

I will post more pics as I get along, I have him a little further than these pics
show, but due to time he will be a while in the works..

That's looking really good so far. I really like the use of the seeker chest for Soundwave, it really works for your application.

Are you going to cut down the chest plate any? The chest plate looks a little big for the body, even if you fill it out with some sculpting putty.

The action master head works very well. Keep us posted on the progress, it's looking good.

I'm curious to see how you're going to make a surveillance console/terminal that doesn't look like a box.

I like the use of the Action Master head for this project. Really looks to scale...I am anxiously awaiting the final result. Good so far...

easy on the console.... the Seeker mold transforms in a way too that resembles perceptor
a bit so that is one of the possibilities for alt mode positioning.
