Here's some WIP pictures of my 1st Transformers custom. The cannon thingy on his back tranforms into a bullet. I also inserted a lazer pointer into the scope/fusion cannon, but it added too much weight, so I took it out. I still have a long ways to go including his enegon mace, saber and rifle attachments for his alternate form. I also want to make the wings tranform into turret station. Hope you enjoy the picts.

I have to admit, when I clicked the link my thought was "oh boy, another repaint of Classics Megatron to remove the purple and green", but that's some great custom work. Finally someone does something different with the figure.

    I thought the same thing.
I like what you did. The chest and legs...Looks almost like the real G1 cartoon.

I dremeled off the chest plate and made the new one out of styrene. The hinge joints came from model plane rudders joints. I'll try to take a picture of this. I had to dremel and thin out the wing shell to make it fit.

This is a really incredible piece of work, especially for a first Transformers custom. You've obviously got some skills!

Just out of curiosity, are you going to make the fists rotate too, or leave it as it?

I thought the exact same thing at first. But this is a truly wonderful custom, let alone for a first attempt. He looks like he should. This is what I thought we were getting when the Classics line was announced.

Man, now I want to go get another Classic Megs to try this. How durable is he? I imagine the squared-off hip guards you added might fall off if handled.
