Very nice! I like where this is going!!! Love his "scorpion tail" thing you got, I can never figure out where that goes exactly.....(I don't own a G1 Galvatron toy, please don't bash me......)

I've always had something like this in mind, though I've pretty much dropped it from my to-do list lately.

As I've said before, I would have MUCH preferred had Galvatron been an upgrade of Voyager Megs instead of Deluxe Megs. I don't think I could have done much better than this. Looking forward to the paint job this gets.

I know this is a WIP but I'm just curious, will the hands remain like that in cannon mode or you have plans for that? I can imagine using posable, open palms for the gun stand. Not show-accurate, but it gives him a crazed, half-transformed animalistic look, as if he can't wait to transform to murder someone.

I LOL at the blue foam (is it blue foam?)...makes me really nostalgic for my school days.

Interesting, but the stationary cannon mode is whats going to sell me on him. I'll be looking forward to the finished pics, bud.

No, he will have wheels, Im still digging them out. His hands will hopefully be articulated. Wworking on getting a pair now.

The Blue is frim a Godzilla Fig I has laying around, It was a pefect "t" for the abs.

The pic I have up is to show another member what the "Tail" was for, its very early. I hope it will look closer to this when Im done.

Cool idea. I like that you took him in a different direction than most other Galvatrons. Way to think outside the (toy)box!

    Looks good so far.

Are you painting him in comic book colors (greyish blue) or cartoon colors (purple)?

Is that a Henkei Megatron? NOOOO! How dare you...

...just playing. Seems like the more expensive way to go though.

I never would have thought Megs head would look good as Galvy but you got a great start. I'll keep an eye on your progress

I actually think looking for and finding a Classics Megs now would run you more money. I can get a Henkei Megs for roughly $45.

Thanks for all those photos showing the "tail"!! Much appreciated!! I've always wondered about it, seen it in the cartoon, the IDW comics, I'm like, where did that come from?! And now I know! And knowing is half the battle..................

This is going to be insanely good!! I just know it! I'm starting to wonder if I should break away from the Energon Megatron molds to fit the classic lines......uh oh.

Your doing a fantastic job on this, especially the head sculpt.

When I first looked at it, I was wondering where you found a galvatron head that size. It's even more impressive after I realized you sculpted it from the existing Megatron head.
