Okay so if any of you picked up on my pics of my http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/531170-wip-energon-chug-grimlock.html you would of seen another bot in the back ground. This is this bot, I have spent the last 4 nights working on this guy, making parts and cutting parts down and so on. The next step is his head and engine mount behind it so I need advice on that guys please tell me which head to use!!! Well here he is photos aren't the best but I will try and take better ones soon. In recent news I have been able to get a bull bar on his grill as you can tell some of the plastic was shaved off so I could get this done. Need to give him a weapon as well.

Holy Crap! The Kup mold totally works for this. Can't wait to see the end result.

I almost want to say that it seems better suited for Brawn, but this works just as well.

What did you use for the cap? I may
    rip this off
use this technique for my Smallfoot custom.

This is completely awesome. I've been playing around with the idea of using this mold for Gears. But Trailbreaker is a great choice as well.

Thanks guys. You won't believe me if I told you what I used for his back canopy. While I was shopping around at a $2 I came across those stupid hamster toys that have these ninja or military shells they were a craze around 6 or so months ago. I bought this military one that has chain guns and I took the chain guns off, not knowing what to do with the canopy until now.

The parts I used beside that one were
A legend class knock of CD redalert for the laser hand
Cyclonus's hinges for the canopy to open up on each side for the feet to pop out (these were bitches to get on him so many failed attempts but finally I got it)
Amonster trucks head lights and bull bar.

Since the bull bar had to be everly cut down to get what I wanted for it I may have to buy a smaller toy car to try and finish it off. But I did want to try and make his front more squareish to resemble the front end of trail braker in the series but may have to settle for this.

Thanks on the grimlock idea but I need something with a mouth sadly I have seen some other trail braker kitbashes but none as extensive as this one so I will have to have a look around and see what heads they used.

Thanks for the kind words guys keep that advice coming in!

thanks guys lol, yeah I use that sonic screw driver on every thing I build. I have even rebuilt the bbc K-9 remote control version the large one of course. If you all want I can put some pictures up of him soon. Still got one mod on that K-9 left to make a mp3 sound transfer for the speaker in side him. My plans are to have his voice come from a small speaker on my belt instead from underneath him as the sound quality that way isn't very loud in large areas. I have an idea for brawn Satomi, have to work on it a little more and also an idea for huffer as well but that will be one of my next projects.

If you are looking for a Trailbreaker head you cannot go far wrong with useing a old G1Hun-grrr head. It is what I used for my Trailbreaker. Never posted it on here because the alt mode is crap because it is well classics Ironhide's alt mode.

    *blink, blink*

I can't believe it never occurred to me till now how easily Kup could pass for Trailbreaker. I'm almost expecting Hasbro to go this way now. Wow. Good job!

As for a head, I'll mention RID Grimlock (the excavator from the Build Team). I always liked that head for Trailbreaker for some reason. Though the Hung-grrr head is also a great suggestion.

    update on the progress,
so tonight I took off the original laser cannon hand it just wasn't working and I found a new one that worked so much better, looks a lot cleaner to. Put on the bull bar and also added some cannisters to the inside of his canopy so it would fill in space and just give more detail, I have done some extra weaponry for him, a small hand gun and shot gun, plus I have some more weapons which I want to keep a surprise for you all as it is going to be big set up. I am still working on the set up of his canopy and figuring out a good head for him as well. Once I have these sorted out then I need to do some paint on him.

I also put in the sonic for all those who love it.

Actually..if you look at RTS trailcutter, it's identical to dlx kup in alt mode. I think this will be the repaint for this mold.

    Nice job on this OP.

Great job here, I've got a tb and a hoist from this mold. Great work on what you've got so far, as for heads I used a classics hound head and added a visor.

I hope to see this progress

Not sure this mold works for Trailbreaker. The legs look really thick the way they stick out below the knee. Also, looks odd without feet.
