While I'm taking a small break from Thunderhorn, I wanted to try my hand at a Shockwave, so I opted one for the Armada Series.
His head, Chest, and lower Legs are all re-sculpted. I even opted a way to detach his tail section of his helicopter alt mode to give him his classic "laser arm"
    anyway, hope you mates enjoy:

Awesome! Not enough Armada love 'round here :)
I'd recommend Skyblast of The Space Team as his partner.. that sounds too cool Shockwave & Skyblast

Awesome. Totally got the Shockwave vibe from both modes. Looking forward to seeing this complete. Great work so far.

Really cool idea. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Would never have thought to use this mold for Shockwave, but it really works well. Might have to do something like this myself.

I think you've got some really good sculpting work going on. I don't think this is the best mold in the world to work with, though. If you like the mold, I guess that's the good part :)

That's actually really cool. Cyclonus isn't the best mould, as Quaddie said, but I really like what you've done to it! Out of curiosity, did you have to mod the tail piece at all to make it fit on the arm like that? I can't test if it works, because they're asymmetrical, and the left arm on mine has a missile glued in. :p

Looks really good all painted up and finished. I'll definitely have to do something like this myself. Out of curiosity, how well do the legs stay in that position for alt-mode?

I'm pretty sure you can get "the Green Stuff" in the netherlands :)

I have been working on a two-headed minicon called "Twinstrike" that I could use with him.

    Thank you mate

    I can see that.

Thanks, the Megatron is my DoTM Megs Concept as a G1 amalgam.

i like Cyclonus mold in armada because it has a lot of nice details, and solid articulation for that line. the Arm cannon was not modified in anyway to attach to his left hand, other than a touch of some putty to give it some more friction, but you can go without it if you choose.

Very Well actually. I needed an alternate option, mainly to make him more distinct. He kinda looks like a military gunship with utility options, with a touch of Terminator flying "hunter-killers".
