He's mostly done, but I still need to clean him up and touch up some details, plus add stickers. Would go the decal route, but I'm tight on budget right now.

Edit: deet-dee-dee, I spelled barricade wrong in the subject. Would a mod be so kind as to correct it?

I'm still hoping we get some 1/24 scale movie toys of Him and the '09 Camaro Bee.

Nice. Very nice. Killer paint app. Barricade always reminded me of the local Dodge Charger cruisers we have around here. Hs anyone else seen the Dodge Charger with the police-package? That car is -mean- lookin!

If they did that, I would buy the '74 Bumblebee if they did him. I'm a fan of the old Camero, and the new one, so I'd probably buy both, lol. Nice work so far. Do you plan on makeing a custom head to look like the movie one?

A local Sheriff's Department has one that patrols along my commute. It's solid black with matching windows. Pretty slick set-up.

This projects looking pretty good so far. About the only detail that sticks out is the silver cowling.

What's funny is by the time I post alt mode photos of my Alternators Interceptor, people are going to think I got the idea from Barricade . . .

Your work looks really nice! I love that light bar. Is that from the Impala model kit from Revel? Did the brushguard come from the same kit?

    . . . and movie Alts would rule . . .

Lol, yep, both, and thats about all that kit is good for :) . Your Interceptor looks great, I dont think you would be acused of coping barricade.

Thanks for the awesome compliments, everyone. Finished pics should come in a day or two.

Edit; Btw, Im not quite sure what to do about the remaining groin area, it was a Grimy, so its red. I thought about going for the authentic colors, but it seems to be a silvery light blue, and I'm almost out of acrylic blue, the final hobby shop in town just shut down, and the big WM only carries enamel blue (I HATE enamel), so that would be a tough mix. Any suggestions?

Movie Alternators, or 1:24 scale movie figures... drool...

I'd take Barricade, Bumblebee, Jazz, and a Leader sized 1:24 Ironhide... :)

Wow. NICE work. Are you going to alter the robot mode any? Not necessarily like the movie, but different from the standard Grimlock scheme?

Show us photos of your work ride!

Thanks for the props on Interceptor! I had to redo his top coat, but he's all finished now except for decals (again). I hope what you say will hold true . . . Interceptor was first (haHA!), and I tried to make him look totally different from Barricade! Plus, I think when the new fans come trickling in, they won't see Alts as "movie" toys somuch, so I'll be ok (I hope :p )

Again, your work looks really nice! I thought several times about picking up that model kit, but cotinually passed for whatever reason (aside from lack of $$). The light bar and the brushguard look great though!

As for the hipguard, if you're set on blue, the Testors acyrlics set ($6-8) usually has some blue in it. If not, you could always mix your own color ;)
