I was wondering if anyone has ever had to winterize their house? I need to do it to my apartment and I was wondering if anyone can provide me with any tips and what kind of material to use. Thanks!
If you live in an apartment, there isn't much you really need to do, especially since you don't own it. If anything, you might want to put some plastic on the windows to add a little insulation and help with the heat bills.
Yeah I have to winterize my house everyyear. They sell plastic for the inside and outside for the windows at Lowes or Home Depot. These old houses lose heat bad in the winter, make sure you have good insulation or any at all under your house. Depends on how bad it is, new houses are good for not needing to do this at all but old houses need some touch up work for winter.
You may also want to buy the little bean bag that seals the crack for the bottom of the door. Helps to keep the cold out.
