They individually name the marvel and DC lines too. And the clearanced out battle blades prime I just bought was like that on the receipt too.

Walmart does indeed have the name normally ring up per UPC. TRU, Target, among others don't. It's one of the few things I like about walmart's system. Though you can't call for individual figures by number, and some that aren't in the system get a global name. The store sku works linewide even though the upc does ring up with name if it's in the system. That's why we get names leaked early like we did warpath, among many many many others.

Hell, guys, I saw the same figures that Sidecutter bought there earlier in the morning because I work right across the street. The picture's not a fake, Sidecutter woudn't do that, and someone has already cleared up the issue where the chopsaw's came from anyway. I didn't buy them myself because I already have one on the way.

I knew it! The local Hasbro Merchandiser told me specifically that RTS scouts were not being released in USA to general market.

I can't believe Hasbro would put out so few of Windcharger then stop production or at least stop release of the fig, thats just wrong. I don't care if its for the movie or not. They should put him out and stop screwing around with the releases of these waves of toys. :banghead:

Very true. I had just bought and extra Red Alert recently and his name showed up on the receipt. Staring at it right now.

BTW....I don't know how some figure out that this is dishonest or shady. It's an exchange. End of.

Did you buy it at WalMart? No
Would you bring the toys to WalMart and say "I didn't buy these here, but I'd like to return them?" No
Would they let you if you did? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
You are lying by omitting that you didn't buy them at WalMart...
I am amazed at what people will do to justify crap like this.

Between this and people risking employees jobs to get DOTM toys early...it's really sad....

no its not really an exchange as the figures weren't bought at the Wal-mart they were "returned" to or any Wal-mart. It borders on fraud to a degree IMO.

I'm loving how poor distribution of toys is turning into some sort of moral issue.

Then let me ask you guys this:

Say your get a present, either for birthday or whatever. And it's something, that you already have. You have no idea where it came from. But you can go to any local store, and exchange it for some other item of equal or lesser value (by the stores own policy, as long as it is something that they carry). Do you think that is dishonest?

    You're right...WalMart probably doesn't give a crap...that doesn't make it any less wrong though.
This mentality of "they're a big corporation so it's okay" is nonsense

I see so a friend of your gets you a shirt at the wrong size at their local, it's dishonest to go to your own local which carries the exact same shirt for the right size.........

    Love it.

Not even Walmart will let you return something for cash without a receipt.

    I really don't know why I'm bothering.

Ill squash this rumor right now. A friend and I both bough cases. He sold off his extras at Walmart to try to break even. I was considering doing the same, but I didn't when they were on clearance and he was only getting $5 a piece for them.
    says he got money back

    I'm confident it's $5 in store credit.
