Was at one of the local Walmarts last night, and swung by the toy department. To my surprise, right on the front of the Scout pegs was a pair of Chopsaw. Looking through, the entire rest of the case assortment for Windcharger's wave was also present on brand new, minty cards in all the right numbers. Unfortunately, the Windchargers were already gone, but I did pick up the Chopsaws.

Since Chopsaw does not ship in any cases prior to the assortment that also includes Windcharger, this means Windcharger was present as well, but someone else found them before I did.

I hope this is true and not a case of someone returning leftovers toys from a case they bought at BBTS or somewhere else.

One sighting means nothing. This wave is still going to be ridiculous to find, especially with a movie line coming in less than 3 weeks.

The movie line is out in a week, not 3 weeks x

Question to the OP: is $5@ a clearance price at WM? It would seem to be so, imho.

I wonder about this too. I would be surprised if walmart let someone return 10 figures without a receipt, however. You never know.

    More than likely they will.
I returned DCUC W10 (7 figs) without receipt and they gave me store credit.

We considered that in the KY sightings thread, but the idea that someone returning ten other toys, with numerous duplicates and no receipt, wouldn't raise some eyebrows even at Walmart doesn't really seem plausible. Also, it wouldn't help the person doing it much, at $5 a figure.

Yes, it is. That doesn't mean new stock can't show as a result - if the clearance stuff on the shelf goes through, they may have some in the back waiting to go out, or the DC may push them more to help get rid of it.

My Walmart doesn't bat an eyelash at returns like that. A buddy of mine got a bunch of Iron Man 2 stuff that he didn't want for X-mas, a lot of multiples were had. He probably returned Sixty dollars worth of 3.75 inch toys.

I think it's pretty likely that someone bought the wave and returned the Chopsaws to Walmart to recoup their costs.

Depends how you look at it? If you get 50$ plus tax back by doing that... the wc's end up costing approximately 30 each. Someone might have been willing to settle for that price. They could have also returned them before they went on clearance.
