Yes and no. In the long run it can save you money but in the short run it can be just as expensive. You still have to buy paints and materials and the actual toy to kitbash. And... Not a lit of people are as talented. I wish I could do stuff like Frenzy_Rumble but I can't..

no, you are incredibly wrong, windcharger was two per case, in a case of nothing but old figures that nobody wanted, the justification of the price increase was to accommodate the extra stock that won't move at all for a long time becuase nobody wants it

Someone in the Radicons used Energon Downshift with a different head, and it worked pretty well.

 

Two windchargers a case so $50-$60. =P
