I sent an e-mail to Hasbro customer service inquiring about Windcharger and Rumble and got this message back:

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. regarding Reveal the Shield Windcharger and Demolition Rumble. We appreciate your interest in our company and products!

Please be assured both products are currently in production and shipping to stores.

    Good news if it's true!

the issue has never been HASBRO SHIPPING TO STORES.
the problem is STORES NOT ORDERING THE TOYS.
The big three are done ordering non movie toys.

Someone should write an enquiry to the Big Three for confirmation instead.

And what a mistake. When I was at NJCC, I noticed a few parents with their kids going.."did you have a ..what is it honey? Oh! wheeljack?". Kids want classics too. Even the generations peg warmers are selling. On the other hand, we still have ROTF stuff on the pegs. I dont get it.

If I remember right aren't is RTS under the movie line in the store systems? Regardless it doesn't matter since stores dont want them anyways.

The reason they're still there is because as we all know they where overproduced just like any main movie line. There just leftovers of what was the great selling lines for them. Sucks but we cant fight it so just pick out the remainders of other lines.

Actually, the UK is completely sold out of them. There are now more Windchargers in the US than the UK as we have all sent ours over to you :lol

Well the problem with this mentality is that, if they put out say.... 15 windchargers for like 5/6 bux, whoever get their 1st, 2nd, maybe 3rd, will definitely pick up multiples since they are so cheap. Also, the stores are not consistent. They may get 1 shipment and that's it.

Because retailers have blinders on when it comes to movie related toys.

Every once in a while a movie line will move like crazy. So retailers get this crazy idea in their head that every movie line will be like Star Wars. They ignore that lines like Star Trek, Terminator, or Avatar toy lines that didn't sell well for them.

Movie toys also tend to burn out really quickly so retailers want to sell as many as they can near the release date because some other movie will be the hot thing in a few weeks. Pretty much the Christmas holiday and some deep discounts to move movie toys after the first month or so. Thus they over order things like wave one of a movie line.

it would be interesting to find out if these letters are even read, or simply given an automated response before being opened by the customer.

There's probably a bot that looks for the word "transformers" and "cancelled" and automatically shoots back this email.
