Windbreaker was my first Transformer, and as such he holds a close place in my heart (in fact I still have him). I decided to take a shot at repainting Cybertron Clocker (I was never fond of his paint scheme) as Windbreaker. I kept running into alot of complications with this figure- including problems with my airbrush propellant, and this figure's plastic was very hard to get the paint to stick to. I'm not too satisfied with this, even if it's only my second succesful repaint (I don't count one that broke while painting- oops...) I might do this character as another figure in the future. Pardon the poor photos- my camera isn't that great.
That looks great dude! I still have my windbreaker too and he's pretty great. I think I still have Skram too and one of the decepticon jets that were about the same size (the gray one).
First off let me say, I like the color scheme and you did a pretty good job. I just started laughing a bit when I heard the name 'Windbreaker' ...the autobot with the most gas Sorry that's just a funny name. After checking him out at TFU.info you definitely got the colors down. He seems like the cybertron hot shot head would fit style-wise a bit better but it might be too big, not sure
A friend of mine had suggested I try that mold. I think it would work pretty well, but I only have one of him and I like the paintjob he has
Yeah, that's what's always struck me since I found out the States had a different name. We called him Zap. Excellent work; the colours look spot on. Not the mould I'd use for him, but still very cool.
