I always wanted to know how this looked. This looks amazing! I hope someone makes some kinda back-plate for the Generations mold on Shapeways or something.
The TR head is almost a straight swap over for the generations head...the ball joint fits perfectly, you just need to trim the collar down around the neck until your happy with the finished product...i popped off the legs and left the arms and torso on the back of the head..it works well
I think I'm in love. Now I sort of want a T30 Windblade as an add-on kit for the TR one, but I'll deal for now.
Excellent, because this was what I was planning to do once I got the TR Windblade (although I'm planning on giving TR Windblade's body to another loose head). I take it the collar just needs a couple mms shave.
I fitted a ball joint to the Generations Windblades heads and just slightly trim the inside of socket where the headmasters head go's so the ball fits firmly and you need to trim a little bit off the exposed part of the socket... the socket holds it in place pretty nice and if I want transform her the head pops of easily and fits in the canopy. However, when you shaved off the collar, did it affect what little ability the nosecone had in locking in in jet mode?
