Very nice review.  

I fully agree with what you said about Starscream, the fact he hasn't got a mini-series or a spotlight of his own yet is pretty surprising, I hope that's fixed in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing how this series ends!

Here's my reasoning:

He was introduced in the bar scene in the first issue and we haven't seen him since. All the guys in the bar, who weren't already there, showed up to help Windblade and the others escape Starscream but Fizzle was a no show. In a 4 issue mini, I just don't see a character being specifically introduced, with a caption box and everything, only to not be used again. I also found his statement about vanity and power suspicious, especially coming from such a vain guy that was moments earlier lying about 'practically commanding the Lost Light'. He's also mostly a blank slate character to work with, unlike Ironhide or Chromia, making him a good choice to set up as a secret bomber.

Plus, I think since Windblade's internal monologue mentioned how she found out later who the badgeless are means that she's commenting on what happened after the fact. Her internal monologue in an earlier issue mentioned that Chromia was the only one she should have trusted and also maybe Ironhide. So I really don't think it was those two.

Can't wait until tomorrow to see what's what

? I mean it would be surprise, and it's not like Windblade knows everyone yet. Yep it'll be someone totally unexpected like Acid Storm. And his motive rant is about how he's tired of just being an ugly green repaint of Starscream.

I have to wonder how many Autobots having gone crazy and turning out to be the villian we're up to.

I think it's definitely someone she knows. The sneak peak image we got shows her realizing who the culprit is and I don't think she'd react like that if it was someone she just met. I'd be very surprised if it ended up being someone that hasn't appeared in the story yet.
