Well, I hope they don't restrain him . And is Bay still staying for producer ? Not that I want him to.

 

We will have to see, but like i said he does have the advantage that this is set before any of the movies.

Bay will remain as a producer for all upcoming films set in the universe he created regardless if he directs or not, he was involved in helping during the writers room so that will gain him producer credit too

It is possible that he might have a bit more creative freedom considering the smaller budget. From what I understand, the lower the budget the more leeway the big wigs will have on you because of the lesser financial risk.

I know Lorenzo isn't much of a source but he did state this film will be different since Knight won't be able to compete with Bay. I'm assuming Knight will have significant creative control (hopefully).

 

he will it is a spin off so he can do anything to bee before the 07 movie for example we can see bee scan the old camaro or see him lose his voice since hes talking with an voice and not a radio

I don't think Travis would have left his studio for this gig unless it was something he really wanted to do, and I don't think he'd be doing it unless they were allowing him creative freedom.

 

Eh I don't know, the movie doesn't seem to be shaping up all that well. I want to be positive about the film, but I have a sinking feeling. Paramount's meddling did effect TLK to the point it felt off even for a Bay film. Maybe I'm just calling it too early, but who knows.

 

I think he did start out this way. But then TLK bombed, the release was bumped up to winter 2018....Then there is the fact that we haven't seen or heard him say *anything*. Everything has come from the actors, or Lorenzo. That's never a good sign. I wouldn't be surprised if we hear in half a year that he's left the project due to creative differences. Seems to be all the rage these days with spinoff movies and the like, ugh.
