We've got Ultimate Bumblebee, which looks amazing.

Has anyone heard anything about any other characters? I'd kill (probably just maim) for an Ultimate Optimus Prime.

Not that I know of, but if they did, they would be crippled by electronic gimmicks. I think leader prime is damn near perfect, and adding more gimmicks could only hurt him.

Seeing how these are doomed to the clearance isle, they better not.

I'd like to see an Ultimate Prime with phrases from the movie and various sound effects.

Well I think they only did BB because he is GMs leading model car. If they did a Prime he would be HUGE. So if any other bot were to be considerd I think it would be Jazz. Any other would be Massive if done in scale with BB wich would look rather odd if they didnt.

Why? Because YOU don't want it doesn't mean others don't want it. Because I think non-transformable action figures are stupid doesn't mean they shouldn't be sold.

I agree, not a big fan of thranformers not transforming. it works for other toylines like SW, but its just not working for me. but it is a nice display piece if you just want to stick him on a shelf in your living room.

megaops, give it a rest man.

Ultimate BB is transforming. Since when 2 detachable doors (that are still attached to the toy with wires) makes a Transformers non-transforming?

They're probably thinking about Unleashed Bumblebee. There's Ultimate(tf-ing) and Unleashed(non-tf-ing)

I'm sure they will see how BB does first. But it is doomed for the clearance bin.

Only collectors will get that, mostly.

I wish there was a different kind of Ultimate line. All the biggest characters at the $90 price point... Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Bonecrusher, Brawl, Blackout. Next size down $60 price point.... Ratchet and Ironhide. The smallest size $30 price point.... Bumblebee and Baricade with super posible Frenzy. All should be masterpiece level with no electronics... just molds as humanly possible to the movie models. With such a small cast of TF characters I think it is within reason to make such a line...... but I'm sure it would never happen.

At first I though Ultimate BB was the shit, now compared to Deluxe 08 BB, I think he's just Shit. Nah, he's cool, but I'd rather see them make 'Ultimate" figures more accurate, maybe if they do Barricade, or Jazz, they can get it done right.

It just kills me though, that Deluxe 08 Bumblebee is more accurate/porportioned than "Ultimate" Bumblebee.:lol

Agreed. And more poseable as well, from the looks of it. Ultimate Bumblebee seems like one of those cases where they tried to put in so much that everything had to be compromised, resulting in a mediocre figure.

Personally I'm hoping that Masterpiece editions of some of the characters show up at some point. Ultimate BB is close, but no cigar. And no purchase. :)

Yeah. For $90 I'd like a little more "Ultimate" and a lot less "Noise".

I just really don't see this thing moving off the shelves well at all. What parent is going to drop $90 on a noisemaker for their kid? I sure as hell wouldn't. I'd go insane.

Maybe it will produced in more limited numbers, who knows. And I certainly don't think it's a mediocre figure. Mediocre = Supreme Cheetor with his close to zero transformation, zero poseability and sub-par electronics.

I suppose noise and lights just don't mean that much to me then.

If you take those features away, you have something that merely on par with Armada Unicron - and Unicron is more poseable :lol . And he was also $40 cheaper :lol
