I thought we already got a movie featuring a human army beating the hell out of Transformers, and that it was called 'Revenge of the Fallen'.

"No," with a side order of "Sweet non-existant Primus, please don't let this happen."

If gi-joe 2 succeeds then yes there will be. Then why not milk both your cash cows

Will the movie suck? Of course,

Will all of you watch it? Yes.

I don't really follow the logic. What's the incentive for making one crossover movie instead of two individual sequels? I do sometimes think people overrate the importance of a couple of crap comics.

I think it would require way too much exposition to explain that the two movie series' are even in the same universe. Like, a whole movie's worth of explaining as to why G.I. Joe didn't help against the Decepticons, and why the Autobots didn't help against Cobra.

Ok, you have super over-the-top cheesy GI Joe, and Super Crazy mindless robot battling Transformers. You throw them together and how would that be bad? Honestly both these franchises aren't exactly worried about class, and I'm fine with that because they fill the role of fun action movies extremely well. So, why not do a crossover and just have fun with it? They'd get my $10.

Prequel novels/comics or a few throwaway lines could take care of that.

Regarding the idea, it's pretty much a hit or miss, most likely the latter. Still, I'd love to see Ironhide & Heavy Duty or Sideswipe & Snake Eyes team up.

NO. Terrible idea, and I don't care that there were comic book crossovers. They would both diminish the appeal of the other, moreso in a lone 2 hour long movie.
Seriously, what is to be gained from it? Even less time for character and plot development? Less ticket sales as there would only be one movie instead of two seperate ones? The Joes having to wear giant versions of the dreaded accelerator suits, and for almost the whole movie? Or the Transformers jobbing to the human military even more so than before? Again what would be gained, especially after the compromises to both franchises to not only have them function in the same universe, but do so in live action and with only 2 hours (3, tops) to cram it all in there? Terrible idea. Aside from maybe comics or a toy line someday, there is no good reason to mix the two. Let them stand on their own feet, rather than rely on it being such a mindless clusterfuck that nobody would care enough to make sense of it.

NEST is already analogous to the multi-national Gi Joe team from the movie why bother having both in one movie? It would just be supporting two casts with only one revenue stream where as it would be better to just have two streams

No they would not. You don't make a film and put up a note saying "By the way, go read this comic series first." If you do, you should have your genitals put in a blender. And as for throwaway lines, how would that work?
Prime: So where were you guys when the rest of your armed forces were getting stomped by Decepticons?
Hawk: Ah, having breakfast. So, what's going on, hey?

As long as it is done by Sunbrow and have all the Oringonal Voice actors that are still alive, I'd be good with it.

    I'd rather have a G.I. JOE/Transformers cartoon.

No. Way too many characters for one movie and I don't like GI Joe to begin with.
