Will the OTFCC Sideburn have the same BiS problems?

I think the main most common problem was the Ball Joints for the Arms.

Well, there's no such thing as the "OTFCC" now. TCC is our current club /nitpicking

I don't recall any improvements to the BiS mold from Classics, though.

My BiS Hot Rod had tighter joints than my Henkei Rodimus. I'm not expecting Sideburn to be any better or worse.

Yea, I would guess that unless they caught the flaw, it will probably be hit or miss again since the production runs are so close to each other. Although some of the seeker flaws seem to have been improved upon between Thrust and Dirge (atleast on mine). One of my BiS Rodimus is good, and one has a wonky shoulder, and my one from the import 3-pack is solid, but no one will know till Sideburn is released. The shoulder issue isn't too much of a deal breaker for me on the figure, just a minor inconvenience.

My Clear Henkei is the only one the arm falls off sometimes from all the others don't come off. And I've got several other examples of the mould.

That said my Anime Hot Rodimus was from the 3 pack not the 2 pack if that makes any difference ?

I've have more problem with the original classics Roddy losing an arm than the BiS version.

Anyway, Sideburn is/will be a toss-up. Botcon/Club exclusives have not historically had better (or worse) QC than any other version using the same base mold.

I'm sure that on hearing all the QC complaints on the Battle in Space set, the club went back and checked their production run is at least passable. I'm sure things like stress marks right off the bat have been looked at. I don't expect that problem with the missing nub to get fixed, but the things that are controllable, will get looked at.

I sure hope they do have better QC. I noticed that there is a weight difference between the Classics Rodimus and the BiS one. I'm really hoping the flaws were from the cheap/different plastic.

I surely hope not. I love the way Sideburn looks and would hate for him to suffer from the same problems. My classics Rodimus's legs are loose as hell, but my BiS was pretty good.
