    I hope so.

If Grimlock ends up with only some of his buddies again, then I hope it is Sludge and Snarl.

my guess is no,as it'll be too repeative as we got them in a previous animated cartoon series.

their are other beast/bots out fans would prefer get cartoon/toy screen time also. like the 1986 Predacons,Terrorcons, beastwars characters, trio of G-1 Insecticons. monsterbots,horrorcons,etc.................

^We also got Bumblebee, Ratchet and Bulkhead in the previous series as primary Autobots.

As much as I loved the animated Dinobots......they didn't really get to do much. I'd love to see how they would be handled in the darker themes of the Prime series.

In general I'd love to see any beast bots introduced. I was a tad dissapointed that the Terrorcons were just the zombies.

Maybe if they provided a different take on the Dinobots. Add a Beast Wars spin by basing their personalities on Dinobot.

So instead of dim witted destructive Dinobots, we would have honorable warrior Dinobots.

They could be a group of ancient Autobot warriors thought lost, but were stranded on prehistoric Earth (explaining their alt-modes).

Agreed, this question gets asked over and over each time the movie production starts. And each time, Orci and Kurtzman say they just can't find a realistic means to justify it. I'd LOVE Dinobots but if it doesn't fit the show then I wouldn't mind them not being in it.

I hope so, but i'd hope for a more comic inspired, intelligent Grimlock & co this time, rather than the big dumb dinobots of G1 and Animated.

I wouldn't mind G1 Marvel style Dinobots. They were less stupid brutes and more savage brutes.

Hopefully not. Everytime Dinobots show up its the same shit, people whining that they didn't do enough or that there's not dinobots enough etc. etc. etc.

They're the Boba Fett of this franchise, too popular for too little, leave 'em out.

Personally I would love to see them if they can come up with a sensible reason for them being there. It would be amazing to have Grimlock on-screen written the way Simon Furman writes him but voiced by Greg Berger!

I like seeing how old characters are updated for Transformers Prime, but I just don't know how many characters we will get given that CGI is going to limit what can be done on whatever budget the show has.

Would be nice though if we got all five unlike Animated and they could all speak unlike Animated.

I agree with this. Everytime theres new fiction there's calls for them - and then they're criticised for not being central, or for missing one out, or whatever.

I wouldn't mind if they were half decent characters.....

If they ever actually turn up, though, I'd like to see a rivalry with the Predacons (who never get anough love).

Actually, just put the Predacons in on their own. No need for sily anatomically incorect dinosaurs.

With the Autobots playing everything low key and all, the Decepticons too, I don't see how Animal based Transformers fit into this new series.

Yes please. I can totally see this happen. It'd be a nice homage to BW Dinobot and let's let the one and only Scott Mcneil voice one of them. BW Dinobot can totally be worked into this series.

God I hope not, I'm so sick of seeing them. and if they do pop up I'm betting they will be as lame and pointless as they were in Animated
