..ever going to be on DVD? T.T It hit me last night when i was having a small mini marathon of the series: i started with "Transform and Roll Out", then moved to season 1's 2 part "Megatron Rising" and then to Season 2 to ejoy all the jerkiness of Sentinel Prime and, of course, the season finale. But then i was all "Wait, we need season 3 now!". T.T
I can go to stores and still get copies of the first 2 seasons but i checked Ebay and Google and there is nothing about a DVD set coming soon. :(  And i know your opinion about bootlegs but i dont see any other way to enjoy Season 3. :S
Anyway, why is that? Can someone refresh my memory and tell me why we dont have the whole series on DVD? You think we will ever get Season 3 on DVD? Cause i would sure like that. :(

As far as I'm aware there is no TFA S3 in existence at all. Nor do I think one is being planned. But as life has taught me anything; nothing's forever. It'll happen one of these days. It's merely a matter of time.

^It's actually up to Cartoon Network. Hasbro would release it, but CN is being all douchey about the rights. It's a similar situation with what happened to RID

Pretty much what i was fearing. :S Sucks CN has to treat the series to badly. Ugh, i just had a flashback of "Energon", never see the end of it in Argentina. :(  Same goes for JEtix and "Cybertron".
I hope TFPrime has better luck.

I'm holding out for a complete series box set, with interviews, commentaries and toy adverts. Probably be an Australian DVD like with Beast Wars :(

Must be nice. :(  They've been out of print & gone for at least a year here in America. The only copies I can find online are exorbitant prices, too.

Nope. Derrick J Wyatt said on twitter that Hasbro owns it completely.

Hasbro's probably waiting until it becomes Nostalgia material to release it or something. Things like that sell better after people REALLY starve for it.

Apparently Hasbro have little interest (or some might say ability) in selling DVDs of thier shows unless they can guarentee they'll sell 500,000 really quickly.

I mean look at their shows they put out atm?

look at whats currenlty happening with MLP:FIM- They've got a huge amount of people asking for that on dvd and they said they weren't going to do it.
    People kept asking.
Hasbro relented and announced the release of a 2 episode dvd.

Does that sound like a company that -
    a) Has any interest in releasing DVDs
    b) knows what they're doing when it comes to DVDs

Looking beyond that fan base, parents aren't going to be willing to pay for a disc with 2 episodes of anything on.

Odd that now with a tv channel they have no interest in DVD sales beyond their current Movie options.

Good thing about living in Argentina is that not everyone likes TFA. ^^' But dont worry, we can get both season overpriced too. XD I found them online for 3 times the original price. D8

You'll get it around the time when The Transformers boxset is released on Ultra-Blu-Ray, the system after Blu-Ray, for the second time.
