All I keep seeing is that he's a satellite.
I fuckin hope he does!
nobody knows for sure
It would be nice, but the sly comments that have been made about Soundwave needing a "simpler" toy for Hasbro makes me think that Soundwave will just be "hanging out" above the atmosphere for most of the movie, and that he is a gigantic. Perhaps all the asteroids that land come from Soundwave, meaning he has somewhat filled the roll of the Nemesis.
Oh wow, I sure hope that's not the case. lol
Actually, from what we saw from that coloring book that got leaked, Soundwave isn't that much bigger then an earth based satellite.
In fact going from this, he just hacks into them; kind of leading me to believe that the whole satellite-mode for the toy was just a interpretation of that.
I personally believe he comes to Earth as a different truck, not a pick-up like the concept art, Bob ruled that out but refused to rule out the truck idea. The toy's abdomen resembles a truck grill too much for it not to be a coincidence.
I hope he comes to Earth. I shall be most disappointed if he doesn't. If he must be a satellite truck, the so be it. However, I hope he retains his Cybertronian mode. I want him to be the one who finds Megatron and brings him back to the other Decepticons.
He better come to Earth and his voice better be fucking awesome.
I sure hope he comes onto the Earth and chooses a super-sweet, yet very fitting, alt-mode.
Interesting, I had not seen that image! However, scale in a coloring book doesn't really give us much solid ground to work from.
I am basing this off of the size of the Ravage missile that is part of the toy. It makes Soundwave looking gigantic.
With any luck he will come down to Earth at some point in the film. Unless they had some sort of battle in space above the Earth that would mean he's out of the action the whole movie which would be rather disappointing after they kind hyped up we'd be getting Soundwave at last.
Maybe they have hashed around a lot of different ideas about his Earth mode which would keep Hasbro from making Earth mode Soundwave one of the early toys.
I'm thinking he just goes about his work from orbit. And I'm alright with that.
I'm just wondering if the preview figure is the only Soundwave we are getting. If we aren't getting another one I'll go ahead and get him, but if we do get one later in the line I'll wait.
theres no point in having him in the movie if he doesnt come to earth
Hmm, I see what you mean.
Though going off of that, we still have yet to see any actual scale ref for Ravage in the film either. As far as we know he could either be massive, or about the average size of a human.
You don't know that. Sure he may not physically be involved in the conflict (though that may not even be the case, he could always fire from orbit), but he can certainly get shit done from the sky.
I bet hes in orbit untill megatron is re-awakened.
If he didnt come to earth then we are highly unlikely too see him in robot mode what would be the point of that.
That would really suck if he didnt come to earth.
but i sure hope he does come to earth.
but i guess will have to wait and see ether for a leak or the movie to come out....
but he'd better go to earth! lol
i mean if he dose deal damage from the sky kinda like the decepticons orbital doomsday weapon, thats coool but lame. hes soundwave he better transform and get his ass down there and command some troops and whoop some ass robot mode is way too sweet not to be seen on the big screen!! and As far as his earth gose it looks like hes just gonna be a satilite bcuz thats what all the sources confirm him as
It's a Bay film so i doubt Soundwave will have more then 10 seconds of screen time...
he can but no one wants that, everyone wants him in the movie so they can see him in action, theres no point including soundwave if hes just going to fly around and orchestrate with no phyisical contact
