Just got done watching tf prime and looked up a few of the toys. To me I feel rts lugnut will fit in that line nice I want him to go in my classics line but he just don't quite fit. He has that classic/movie look that tf prime designs have. What doo you guys think?
Sure. RTS Lugnut has that same simplified movie look of the Prime figures. In robot mode, he should look fine. Vehicle mode is another story. TF Prime seems to favor slightly disproportionate, cartoony, vehicle modes. RTS Lugnut has a much more realistic vehicle mode. I think he might look a bit out of place in vehicle form.
No, He fits in classics perfectly, there really are no movie references with his design, i should know, i am the guy who raged over the fact people were saying seaspray fits in perfectly with classics (he still don't)
this, flat panels and regular robot detailing don't make a movie figure, i fail to see any movie detailing in him
I'm kind of drawn on where to display him as well. He's got plenty of things that would make him at home with my Classics Decepticons but at the same time he's got some elements that would fit so nicely with Transformers Prime. I think that's why I'm so excited for the Transformers Prime action figures because it doesn't feel like I'm having to start a whole new collection. If I really wanted a Classics style Bulkhead I could just use the Bulkhead from Transformers Prime, but if I really felt like Transformers Prime needed Jazz I could just use my Classics style Jazz. I guess mix and match is a nice problem to have since it increases your chances at characters.
He is 100% classics to me. I don't see the Prime stylings in him and there is not exploded metal like Bayverse. I must say I am really loving Lugnut, the figure looks good from any angle and there is so much character in that chin.
Blasphemy. Lugnut doesn't play with anybody but Lugnut. You need a Lugnut shelf: Animated Lugnut Animated Atomic Lugnust Japanese Animated Ragknights RTS Lugnut United Lugnut
