I'm thinking he's just too wide but would like confirmation from someone that has both figures.

Thank you in advance! (And don't ask why I'm mixing :)  They are both good figures!) :)

Don't have HA Jazz but MP-10's trailer is only wide enough for deluxe size if you ask me.

No, but he'll fit in MP-01/04's since that could house 1/24 scale cars like Alternators.

Well, that gave me an excuse to transform HA Jazz again :)

He actually fits quite comfortably. No issues with the mirrors scraping against the trailer.

HA Bumblebee also fits, but a little bit more snugly. HA Barricade fits in width, but it actually a tiny bit too long meaning the trailer doors won't close. HA sideswipe is too wide to fit.

There are also a few alternators that (barely) fit. (Not willing to transform those so just taking the ones I have in altmode)
    - Subaru mold is too wide
    - Honda S2000 has the mirrors touch the trailer
    - Mazda rx8 can fit but the mirrors come very close to the trailersides
    - Acura is too wide with the mirrors
    - Chevy Corvette is too wide (even with the mirrors folded up)

Sweet! Thank you very much man for actually checking, not just pasting what you thought you knew. That's good news indeed! I really appreciate it!

Really?! I'm pleasantly amazed to hear this! I have been wondering for ages what scale MP Sideswipe's Lambo mode is; there was a pic of it on MP-10's trailer ramp where it looked like a pretty tight fit. I don't own MP-10, but if HAs and even some Alts fit in, that gives me hope that MP-12 is closer to HA scale than I thought. Not just a puny deluxe car, in other words ;)

Well, decided to be extra nice and shoot a few pics anyway.

First is the MP-10 trailer with HA Jazz and Bumblebee. Jazz fits very easily with room to spare. Bumblebee just squeezes in with only a little bit of spare room for the mirrors.

Next a pic of KP Autorooper (Mazda rx8) and BT Arcee (honda s2000). Both fit, but the mirrors are extremely close to the sides. The trailer is a bit wider beyond the trailerdoors so it's more safe there.

(Small correction to my original post. The mazda fits in the trailer for width, but this time I didn't succeed in closing the trailerdoors perfectly.)

Since MP-10 isn't a 1:24 scale toy, it's no surprise that figures that are 1:24-25 won't work well.

Ah, but some do, albeit only just.

Honestly, if I see a truck on the road I have a hard time imagining a car fitting in the trailer. (But trucks in the USA are probably bigger.) So if they don't fit I have no issue with it. If/when they make an Ultra Magnus I think they should widen the trailerbed since car carriers are often a bit wider.

I load an unload freight from tractor trailers all the time. I agree with you on this. A standard 53' trailer isn't as wide as some people think. Sure you could fit some small compacts an maybe a sedan or 2 in their , but you definetly ain't getting a corvette or Lamborghini in their. Honda civic? No problem. Dodge viper? Prepare for some major paint scrapage.
