Do you think it will be? Do you want it to? Who will be included?

Well since it's HASBROs 25th Anniversary celebration every line has had some form of homage except Animated(legends sucked) with ROTF comming and Universe being a line of fillers don't you think it would make sence to put it in a filler line?

I'm all for this as long as we get Arcee, Wheeljack, Perceptor, Rodimus, Braw, and the new Decepticons.

(Didn't know wether to put in Animated section or toys, so I went with my guts please move if it needs to be)

i hope so.i really want arcee and perceptor.

it would be kinda like when they released that new version of beastmachines optimus primal in the R.I.D line way back in the day.

i dont care what anyone says, perceptor is awesome.and this one wears glasses!

for some reason the glasses are awesome to me.

Machine Wars and Energon did not receive homages. Animated is to NEW to even have that term used on it.

It would not surprise me if some Animated toys went into Universe, but I do not expect it.

Except we already have Animated figures in Universe.

I'd say moving Animated proper under the Universe banner is a distinct possibility, and if the line is indeed in its final days, I rather hope it does.

It should... in fact there's no reason for it not to.

True, but it's far more likely to come back than the line that exists to support the cancelled cartoon. I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that Hasbro could use a new Universe line to put out some of the Animated molds that won't make it out if the line ends with/before Arcee and Soundwave.

I think Animated may be sold in Movie line packaging, along with repaints from the Universe line (oh, there will be repaints...).

Universe is on hiatus, not canceled, it too has been delayed for the rush of ROTF figures to be sold, Universe will return.

And yes, I want Animated in there. Like bad. With the higher price points and figures they've been releasing, it would be the perfect line to release Animated Omega Supreme in.

Even if he'd just be a Leader Class, or an Ultra...but super detailed and have a kick ass transformation, I'd take that. Imagination folks, it's the mass shifting of the mind.

I don't see it. Under new packaging, maybe. As it is the look of the toys and packaging is just too different for Animated to be shoehorned under Universe.

I'd love for that to happen, just so we get molds of the unreleased figures and any new characters or those that haven't received a figure yet (Omega Supreme, Constructicons)...but I'm overly cynical right now, so I'd doubt Hasbro would have that lightbulb go off in there head.

I have a feeling this is what will happen. It'd be great to see the new Bumblebee without that dumb submarine as a deluxe or scout, Arcee, SOundwave and the new season 3 members. Hell, maybe they'll finish the Animated line in Universe, since it can be a smaller run and cater to fans... much like all the g1 Universe has been giving us.

Interesting I noticed this morning that the UK Transformers comic has adopted the 'Universe' subtitle now, in the same banner design as Universe toys have. This comic is rather Bay movie heavy in content (such as that content is) but maybe this is a tiny clue that the Universe sub-title will stick around and be the banner under which Animated stuff may get released. Certainly it's interesting to see it on a comic which is very movie and will probably be even moreso as the new film comes closer.
Of course, this is just me wildly pondering and a sub-title banner on a UK comic probably means nothing in the world scheme of things.

Arcee and Soundblaster would be nice at least. I doubt anything else would be.

    Yes.

Universe has always been a place to revisit popular molds with new decos. I'd say it's extremely likely that going forward we'll see Animated molds in the Universe line (beyond the legends we already have, of course).

If it's the only option to get more Animated molds ... yes.
