I've had Wildrider on the brain since the recent Botcon news, so I went to my bin of Cybertron Backstops and cranked this one out. I know it doesn't make much sense.

Simple black repaint, with the hand mod I did previously from a ROTF Breakaway. I actually got two right hands from one Breakaway by switching his thumb.

As ridiculous an idea as this is, it actually works really well, and you've certainly done an awesome job with the paintwork.
To be honest, if there's a Stunticon who doesn't care what his altmode is as long as he can cause havoc with it, I'd say it's Wildrider.
I'd suggest Dead End might have issues with you, though, if you tried to turn him into an animal... :p

Thanks guys...I know this isn't the most popular mold, but I find it charming for some reason. I've taken him apart so many times I feel like I could do it blindfolded.

    Yes...I may have a problem.

I'm getting a serious Neo vibe from this with the crispness of the black paint. Awesome job. I, IMHO, think Backstop is a fine mold.

Thanks everyone! One last group shot before back to the bin.

Also the black paint is Testors Acrylic Flat Black. I highly recommend it for neutralizing bright colors. It's very thin, chip resistant, and seems to dye the plastic a bit.

There's strength in numbers, and now somehow Backstop mould looks amazing :D

Such smooth, flawless paintwork as always....I can easily image how nice they are in person. Love the name of this little dude, too!
