so even if Genesis and TF-16 games might be able to use the GC controller, i'll still pick up a classic controller.

Good to know that you can still use the Gamecube controllers, but I think I'll pick the Classic controller as well, depending on how much it costs.

When you go to the detail menu for each VC game when you are buying it shows what controllers it works with, so far all the games on support the Wiimote, VC controller, and Cube controller.

NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbo Grafix 16, N64, and one other console's games will have select titles available on the Virtual Console.

and here's hoping that if the VC does really good (for Sega and TF-16) that they'll add in Sega Master System games, 32X games, Saturn, Dreamcast, Game Gear, and TF-CD.

and here's hoping that if the VC does really good that they'll add more systems (Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Neo Geo, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color, etc)...that would rock

If they had a translation of Rondo of blood on this baby, I would pick it up, no matter where my games went.

i bet for snes you just use z instead of select or something like that if you have a cube controller. good to know anyway, i'll only probably pick up one classic controller right away and use the cube ones for multiplayer.

Hell yeah. If SOTN gets to be on Live Arcade, then they damn well better bring that over.

i jsut thought of something. a lot of snes games use b as the primary button instead of a, and that could be a problem with the gamecube controller. can you customize controls or anything? like say super mario world, y for running and b for jumping could be a problem there.

How would the N64 work with the classic pad?

Right analog stick for the c-buttons?

We so need a N64 controller for the Wii. I don't know if anyone here has tried playing N64 games on the Gamecube, but it just doesn't work.

Yep. Same as Zelda: OoT/Master Quest bonus disc for Gamecube

Only N64 I played on GC was Ocarina, and I had no problems with it at all.
