I just bought the Resident Evil 3 pack for GameCube,

They load up fine in my Wii, but I can't get past where it say's "No Memory card detected - Continue without saving or Retry"

I've got my Classic Controller connected properly, (It works fine in the Virtual Console), but I can't select the Continue without saving option.

Are some games incompatible with the classic controller? Do I have to configure it somewhere first?

Also, can you save GC games to an SD card or do you need a GC Memory card?

GC games cannot be played with a Classic Controller, you need a GC controller

Gamecube games can only be saved to a gamecube memory card. Being older games, they weren't programmed with a "save to hard drive" option. And you need a GC controller. Classic won't work for GC games.

I think Nintendo just assume you would already have the controllers and memory cards to use, if you are buying gamecube games :p

just buy a used controller and memory card off ebay or something
