I've had a few Wii parties at my place, so when I read this Joystiq article I become quite interested:

And here is the link to the Wii Evite page: http://www.evite.com/app/cms/ideas/wii

It's pretty cool, in addition to the different types of invitations you can send out they also have decoration ideas, attire suggestions, and activity food and drink ideas.

I wish I used the block user feature at times.

Anyway, Wii parties are pretty common around here. We all get together with Wii Sports and Warioware and drink and eat and be merry. Danke for the link.

That seems fun, but my house isn't big enough to have all those people waving their arms around, and we don't have many kids my age in the neighborhood. My friends house is perfect, though, if they only had a bigger tv

so do you have to have a person's friend code to invite them to your house? :p

But yeah. Fun idea. The Wii is really great to play with non gamers, but Ive never had more than one person over to play a game at a time.

Ahh, think of a Sims-like game where you connect with friends online and have WarioWare-type games tournament style? I'd pay $100 for that!

My Sims. I dunno if it has minigames or not, but I'm pretty sure it has wireless connectivity.
