I like that its hitting the WII, but I will get it for PSP long before the Nintendo version.
Interesting choice. I'll be waiting to see how well the wand works for this, and whether it's playable oldschool style.
I do hope they use the tilt sensor for aiming. My biggest problem in metal slug was aiming at an angle without accidentally running into something.
Another metal slug anthology?
Well, that about decides it. A third-party reason to get a Wii. I hope Metal Slug 6 is thrown in the anthology; I don't know of any potential domestic console release for the game after it finally hits arcades.
This is a bigger third-party reason than Red Steel?
Well as an old school MS fan, I'm all for it. Just one more reason to pick it up.
The Wii deal just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter!
Speaking as a diehard Neo Geo fan, you bet. If I can get my hands on Metal Slug 6, I'm going to be very happy.
at last metal slug-I remember paying tons of quarters on mexico for that game
Ugh, that sucks, no SNK 360 support huh? I expected that from Sony but damn. The only way I'd get this (and a Wii) is if you could play it with the classic controller, none of that sensor business.
If they're smart it will be optional.
I'd be very surprised if you couldn't play the Metal Slugs with the classic controller.
... so SNKP and Nintendo have come together once again. Yup. I'll be picking up a Wii for sure. I am surprised about SNKP not producing games for the 360, but I'm assuming that really refers to publishing newer titles to put on store shelves. I had read somewhere, I think it was IGN or Gamespot, that SNKP is going to release games for the 360's Live Arcade.
That's true, in my moment of disbelief I forgot. Hopefully they can get those out in a more timely manner than their disc based games. I'm already sick of waiting on Capcom to release SF2 on there.
I'd be surprised if they didn't.
Meh, the Metal Slug series crapped out when SNK was bought.
