And why the delay and not havin' had somethin' like that in the first place?

... The same reason why the Japanese dub of Beast Wars was what it was.

Dear Nintendo, welcome to three years ago. Cool about the Arcade games though. Too bad the listed launch games (save for maybe Space Harrier) are complete ass.

yeah, the SD card feature works perfectly. wortld of goo, my largest downloaded game on the wii, loaded from the SD card in abouy 7 seconds. not bad at all. copied all my VC and Wii Ware games to the SD card, and checked several out. I was worried that deleting the game from the system memory would get rid of the save states, but ninja gaiden loaded up several levels in without an issue.

this will lead to a lot more Wii Ware and VC purchases. I stopped buying the games because I hated shuffling them around constantly.

About time. Jeez, Nintendo's just losing their touch.

Oh right, they lost their touch when they said "fuck you" to the hardcore gamers and went to the casual gamer crowd, IMO. And that was about a year ago, I might add, when Super Smash Bros Brawl was the last GOOD game to be released.

oh whine whine whine. they havent lost touch. good games take time to make. many great games have come out since brawl. get house of the dead overkill and mad world and be quiet. I'm getting Rune Factory Frontier in a few days. yet another good wii game. wario land: shake it is awesome too. best sprite work I've seen in my life.

it's the same thing with the people who STILL try to say the PS3 has "no games". you cant say a system has no good games, then ignore the good games that DO come out, just so you can keep saying it has no good games. it's stupid.

Firstly, you didn't seem to notice the IMO in my post.

Secondly, I'll be fair and say I was acting too brash with my post, and I apologize. What I meant to say was that Nintendo hasn't made any new games based on their hit franchises (Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, to name a few. Pokemon's an exception, what with the recent release of Platinum). I understand Nintendo's trying to go in a new direction with their games and everything (hell, I think it's a good idea), but they need to remember that it was the hardcore crowd that brought them to who they are today. And I will agree, Wario Land Shake It is awesome. I've considered buying Madworld, and what with the rave reviews it's gotten, I know what I'm spending my first paycheck on (if I get a job, that is :p ).

nintendo is making games in their core franchises. they just take time. we got metroid, zelda, and mario all in the first 18 months of the wii's existence. that's pretty great to me. I dont think I'd want to play a zelda, mario, or metroid game that was the result of just a year or less of development time.

what about those of us that have homebrew? does it effect that? I imagine there'd be some ISO in place to cancel it out.
thanks for the heads up though :)

The feature works well. I decided to see what would happen if you moved all of your downloaded channels to the card...and I was surprised to see it worked. Yes, the Internet, Check Mii Out, Nintendo Channels, etc...can be transfered to and loaded from the card. (Weather, news, photo, and shopping cannot. They're permanently fixed to the machine's O.S.)

Takes a while for the Internet Channel though.

oh yeah, as for this sd card feature, it'll be nice to be able to use all those useless channels again, like internet and check mii out. they actually are pretty fun every nonce in a while, but i've had to delete all of them to fit in games that i care about. now i won't have to worry about it. it's about time.

So I do get this to work? Do I copy the channels to the SD card?

yup. if you already copied any games to the sd card in the past, they'll run direct off it already, you don't have to do anything. if not, you can copy or move to the sd card under data management. also, you can download stuff straight to the sd card from the wii shop, totally bypassing the wii system memory entirely.

then buy one of those instead.
