So I was looking into this on google, I figure one wireless controller can easily be compatible with devices as another... and I see this.

    http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/02/27/video-wii-remote-working-on-360/

So yeah... real? (Looks real, however slow) Hoax? Or can I reasonably expect to Wii bowl on my 360 before long?

Sorry if this has been posted before, it is a month old.

I'm skeptical...how does it work without the sensor bar?

Same way it works when you use it with a PC, I think.

Well I thought the Wii got a lot of its data through the wireless link, and readings from the accelerometers in the Wiimote. (So it can tell its still, just because it reads as 9.8 m/s straight down)

Maybe he rigged up the bar to USB? I dunno, but it this is true, it'd be pretty sweet.

    Edit

    From the 100% factual Wiki.

Which seems to indicate that the bar itself does no detecting, its the point of reference for the controller. In any case, it seems that the Wiimote doesn't need the bar itself to function.

The sensor bar is for pointing functionality only.

Right, but the demo shows the guy pointing. Unless he somehow hacked the sensor bar, I don't see how he could do it.

Pretty sure this here is a fake. The Wii controller uses bluetooth to connect. The 360 cannot accept bluetooth as far as I know. This however, may be possible with the PS3, seeing as how the PS3's controllers also use bluetooth to connect.

Because you can use two tv remotes as infra red points for the Wiimote to pick up from, or two candles. There are videos on YouTube of these very feats.

Well, the 360 does have USB ports, and you can just shove in a Bluetooth adaptor, jury rig some bluetooth software and BAM!

    Blue Ray.
