I'm trying to upload some more Wii Points to my Shop Channel. I've got a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter that usually works well, but I just tried it and the Wii couldn't find the connection even though the Adapter recognized the Wii connecting.

    How can I fix this???

I'm pretty sure the USB WiFi adapter doesn't work w/ the Wii anymore. I had one that quit working w/ the Wii sometime ago, so I had to manually enter the code for my wireless router to get the Wii back online.

^completely incorrect. I've been using mine since it's inception and it still runs perfect.

You could simply be receiving interference from other wireless networks or even your own. It could also be a problem on the Big N side of things. Try reinstalling the software for your dongle. You'll have to do a complete reset for your connection as well. Either that or wait a few hours and try again.

Is it a Nintendo brand adapter?

Rumor was that the big N tried to firmware-out 3rd party LAN cable adapters...

The Wii fi adapter was puled off the shelves because of hacking or some crap. I asked about it at work one day and found out they were all pulled. Cant even order them online anymore.

I've been using a Nyko USB Ethernet adapter, and it still seems to be working fine,

No. I've seen them on shelves several times in the last week as I'm thinking of buying one for a relative for Christmas. Your statement is wrong.
