The seller is from Greece, perhaps Dead End comes from the same area. International packaging has been known to vary.

LOL That says S1, designating Dead End as Stunticon #1. It's not a dollar sign.

I would have to assume the Stunticons got issued in the gold Classic packaging sometime in late G1, so that can't be too unusual. Maybe just not in the US.

UK/Europe reissued a lot of early G1 items somewhere between late G1 and G2. Perhaps this is an example of that?

    Yea its a Classic Stunticon.

I managedto pick up the last two Stunticons I needed when they were re-released in that style of packaging.

In fact if you look at BigPete's collection thread on here and search for Stunticon, you'll find a pic that shows this style of card.

Yea it's European Classic Dead End on UK card. The European Classics came on are different cards with minor differences, depending what country they were released for. You can see the difference between the UK and Spanish carded figures here (from my stuff) http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/3778/img1289oi3.jpg

Here's a list of the toys released in that packaging:

(Frankly, I don't really think the Australian exclusive stuff belongs on that page. It sounds like they just got some of the early-1990's Chinese releases...)
