Man, I stopped following the Bionicle stuff after that one story arc with the Toa turning into half beasts.

They used to be one of the main Lego series I collected.

Man I used to be into Bionicle. But you know, I just became so hard to to follow the fiction since they split it one single story over four different media (comics, books, movies, web material) that I just went "fuck it".

I mostly ignore the stories Lego comes up with, though I do watch the Bionicle/H.C movies to see the animations. I just buy the sets that look nice to me.

Only the first wave of Heroes weren't, everything else has been just as posable as the later Bionicle sets.

Same. I think it lost a lot of the magic it had after that point.

I kinda always felt the magic. 2007 was my favorite year. The underwater theme and the end of clone sets. HF kinda has a clone thing going b/c of the skeletons but they make it hard to notice.

Don't have too many but they were cool. I wish they would combine the Bionicle formula with the Xevox style and roll hard with it.

I liked the odd atmosphere it put off. Lego would be perfect for a Metroid line.
