Why the "MasterForce-Victory-Pretender-Zone" stuff is so valued?

I think I'll just stick to reissues and the eventual MP's of my favorite Japanese G1 characters. Although I absolutely love them, original Japanese G1 has become too rich for me.

I think it's because Japan is this big () and the rest of the world is (.................................) this big, they're great toys, there's not a lot of them in comparison to the amount of collectors in the world. The vintage US g1 collection is fairly easy to complete, especially in comparison. Then people want something to collect afterwards, so they go to Japanese, European, and South American exclusives to fill the line out.

The actual worst Japanese line to complete is Headmasters, every figure is insanely expensive for what it is. Just for you guys, here's some pics.

    Headmasters

    Masterforce

    Victory

    Zone

    Return of Convoy

    Operation Combination

Three of them are not the real thing, but by the end of the year I hope to replace them. Other than that, that's the full set of regular figure exclusives (I don't have the JRs at all)

I read that they were only ran for a year, and it's logical because toy lines are not produced so heavy in their later years. This old geocities Transcon 1997 also shows that even 20 years ago Go Shooter and Minerva were highly priced and highly sought after.

Lol yeah these photos really take me back, I starting collecting again in 1997 when I was 17, I'm sure Tomarts guide to collecting or Toy Fare had photos of these events too.

STUNNING as usual. A real justification of all the hard work you did to create this collection.

    All the best
