So Maketoys Giant is out and I see nothing of it on here. Hercules is finally out and I see repaints and I remember first impressions, a review, qc discussion, release dates being discussed...the only thing I heard about was comparisons a few times between the two and a lil buzz when it was mentioned. I got mine in hand and see reviews on Youtube so I know there are plenty people with it. Theyre releasing a green version too...no mention of that either. Had to find out from a vid. The point is unless I missed all the coverage I think someone is playing favorites or is severely underestimating this figure. I remember the flaming of the 3rd party seeker producers...fine Im with it. I understand when a company does something underhanded to fire the blame cannon their way. Maketoys however is a reputed company to my limited understanding and has done nothing in the way of pissing anyone off as far as I know. Does anyone feel this way as well? Am I just being paranoid? Did I miss something?
Yes, there is a 3rd party section. But it does seem like Hercules was featured on the news page way more than Giant (especially if Giant is out now). But BBTS still shows all waves as being preorder. The full combiner is actually out? Let me just say much like the Hercules thread, the Giant thread is huge (giant ) and very overwhelming if your trying to find out what if anything has happened.
Not attacking the OP here, but this reminds me of people who use this subforum as the feedback section "Hey, so I got x figure today, he's pretty cool huh?"
negative. I just noticed that with all the months and months of front page Herc that Id seen The Giant doesnt seem to be getting the same love. It was just an observation. I see the thread and looked through it. Guess we will just have to wait and see when its all completed.
Giant hasn't actually released though, has it? I know the first 2 guys were released cos TJ posted pics of them, but I haven't seen anyone with all 6
