Why so much unwarranted love for Leader Brawl?

He's like the a bigger deluxe with even more guady white parts, and the back of his legs are horrible looking.

I mean, I've been seeing posts were people were suggesting the time between engineering Leader Brawl and the rest of the movie toys (if they weren't designed at the same time) the engineers garnered enough experience to make the holy awesome that is Leader Brawl.

I mean, he's really nice. But so is the deluxe. I don't really see any new posing capabilities, all I see is weapons that move in and out with sliders, and a giant think sticking off his boobs.

So, I beg the question, what is with the obsession? I'm not trying to start a fight by any means, I just need some insight into this adverse matter.

I might buy him for peek-a-boo tank mode, however, but I'm sure that's not everyone else's reasons.

    :O Thanks for replying.

Maybe b/c it's more in scale to the rest of the line, a Camaro is not the size of a tank

I pretty much agree. I dont see anything that makes him significantly better than deluxe Brawl, especially not $30 better. Hell, to me he just looks fatter, and "fat" is the main reason I'm staying away from Jazz and Ratchet. The only thing that seems cool about him is the idea of having a Brawl who's as big as he was in the movie, but that's enough to make me hand over the bucks

I'd much rather buy a few LOC figs than a forty dollar tank. In response to the scale argument, anyways.

I dunno, I just like larger scale TFing military vehicles. Personally, I have the deluxe already, and may wait for the Allspark desert deco version.

    1) It's a fucking big tank-former
    2) Compared to the deluxe class...it's a big improvement (for one it won't have those damn shoulder problems)
    3) It just plain looks badass
    4) It's a fucking big tank-former

Zecks, I'm on the same boat... I have been since day one... It is just underwhelming and looks like an oversized deluxe. I'll probably still buy one (the recolor, actually), but I'm really unimpressed.

SW.ca just got one, so maybe he can tell us if it's worth shelling out $40 for...

    I want...

Meh, may just be better to wait for normal retail, I prefer not paying extra if need be.

If he got it from where I'm assuming he got it from, it wasn't much more than retail...

That would be a big yes. Trust me this kicks the crap out of the deluxe version and very much worth shelling out $40 for.

Huh? I can give you several reasons to go with Leader Brawl :

    1-Better poseability
    2-No problems with the arms
    3-More/better weapons
4-More gimmicks that don't interfere with the toy
    5-Better transformation
    6-Sounds and lights
7-Looks a lot better in both modes

Because this is how it should have been made from day one. I'd imagine all the left-over Deluxe Brawls are going to end up in the clearance isle.

    1. If anything it's equal. I haven't seen a pose from Leader Brawl that couldn't be replicated with the deluxe.

    2. Neither does my deluxe Brawl, sweet.

    3. Clear plastic does not make things better. Sliding tabs that makes things pop out is pretty sweet though, but I don't dig his armada megs cannon. His leg blades are pretty superfluous too.

    4. No of the deluxe's gimmicks hurt the toy at all.

    5. I don't have Leader Brawl, and I haven't seen an objective analysis of his transformation. And you don't have him either, so that's a pretty presumptious thing to assert.

    6. I haven't seen those either, but I know they're there. This isn't really a plus or minus, it's so trivial. I could retort with saying "Deluxe Brawl has a projectile!!" but having something the other doesn't isn't a valid argument for why Leader Brawl is so praised.

    7. Deluxe Brawl has less kibble, and less miscolored parts. Besides that, they're almost exactly the same asthetically.

You must have missed the recent galleries that proved a fair few of his points.

Leader Brawl looks amazing, and having seen him in person..yeah he really is much better looking in both modes.

Note the lack of a freakishly long tank cannon hanging off his arm.

Here's the five reasons I want him.

    1. He's a giant tank that's in scale with most movie figures.

    2. He's got arms that stay in the shoulders.

    3. He's got ankle and finger articulation.

    4. More accurate weapons, feet, legs, arms, and body.

    5. More detailed and accurate vehicle mode.

We've seen step by step transformation images, that alone proves it's better than teeny-tiny Brawl.
