why not Peter Berg for TF4?

    Why not kick out bay and get the guy who worked on battleship? Seems like a decent replacement.

    It's always like that, "Hey people look, this guy did one good movie. HE'D BE PERFECT FOR TRANSFORMERS" less people, less. This guy? Random Blockbuster director on the same style of Bay, you're exchanging a horse for a donkey: Not much difference except one is inferior to the other.

    As much as I like to see Battleship, it looks very much like Berg copied Bay's style wholesale.

    If Berg made a TF movie, it would probably end up being exactly like Bay's films.

    Why settle for this unknown yahoo when there are more capable directors around?

    Berg isn't entirely unknown, since he's directed some well known films like The Kingdom, Friday Night Lights and Hancock, but I agree that there's definitely other directors out there, should Bay bow out of the franchise.
