    So my wife and I are purchasing our first home. We have gone through so much paper work and the underwriter has made life horrible because my brother deposited money into our account so we could give it to my mother. anywho now that the underwriter is safisified our closing has been delayed two days allready. I just want to sign the papers and move. YEESH>

    it is a long term relationship between you and the place you are selling your soul to. (lol)
    add to that the ginormous amount of money, and the lawyers just wanna make sure things are just so.

    Just hang in there, you'll get one. We did'nt get one until we gave up, then we got one, yay!
    But then we lost it, and then we lost next one which had a cool basement. *meanwhile, realtor pulls her hair out*
    Finally, we're moving in May!

    Huh? Really? I got SQUAT during tax season when I bought my first home. In fact, it hasn't really paid off at all yet as far as taxes go.

    The best part about owning is not making someone else rich (landlords).
