why is this item auctioning do more then BIN price?

    Sometimes things sell higher than expected, just as well they can sell lower than expected.

    Also, a lot has to do with creative wording. The guy says that he does "SEE" anything missing or broken. So someone who is not quite as familiar with this piece, but is merely buying it for it's rarity, may be thinking they are paying the full amount for a compelte figure. The onus will fall on them later on when they find out it's missing parts.

    that does not matter anyhow...all a buyer has to do is open a dispute and ebay will force the seller to take the item back and issue a refund..the reason does not matter...if the buyer "has buyer remorse or if something is missiing" is irrelevant...if the buyer files a complaint via a dispute with ebay they will win regardless if the seller worded his auction a certain way or not about possible missing parts.
