Every movie I can think of gets a score album when the movie hits theatres, why not Transformers?
Cuz Hasbro loves to piss me off! Whatever I want, they do the opposite.
According to this article at on the movie's score, a score album is 'in the works'.
nice! I want that score.
Can somebody tell me what's the song which is played in the final trailer when the screen reads "From Director Michael Bay"?
There is money to be made people. Whatever has the name Transformers on it is bound to sell. Don't worry....it'll be out before too long.
When it comes out I will be ALL over that.
Yeah, this is typical to release the score later if their is a popular soundtrack.
Glad to see the link for the score to be released on CD.
Can't compare the new score to the old one. Both are good and fit in with the movie genre each was played against.
But let's not hope that Vince DiCola is out of the running for future movies. =)
Yep, very much looking forward to it's release. Just wish it would hurry up.
I'd buy the score, I really enjoyed the music written for the movie.
You can count me in for the score. It made the movie go up a notch in my eyes. Very epic.
Because the musical store would be idiotic to put in this album. The whole purpose of this album is to make money selling records to the masses. You do that by using music that the biggest demographic is likely to buy, not make a CD that will make the smaller demographic happy. The music choice for the first album was a better choice for the initial campaign because it targets the larger demographic immediately and slaps them in the face with a "buy me because you already dig the music on here" stick.
That being said, I would LOVE a musical score CD and actually don't like the first soundtrack. But, it is something they should have done because ultimately this is a business that needs to make the most money possible. High profit FIRST, your happytime jollies last. This is how it SHOULD be, this is business after all.
I totally can't wait for the musical score CD!
Count me a buyer of the "music from" CD. I bought the "soundtrack", and luckily b4 I opened it, realized it was all lyrical songs... and not even the funny ones from Bee's speakers. So it's going back to WallyWorld.
yeah I know, no sexual healing wtf?! And what was the other song played when Mikeala was walking away?
But yeah anyways I'm buying the score
I would absolutely buy that. The score for the Movie was phenonenal. It really worked well for this film and I must have it. I think I can skip the soundtrack, but the score will be mine.
I'm all over buying the score!
I'll pick up the score for certain. If nothing else, I want a copy of that piece of music that plays when the Autobots arrive on Earth and scan their alt modes.
I'd also like a CD of music from the game. The PS2 version at least has music very similar to what you hear in the film, and is arguably the best thing about the game. That, and smashing a Swindle into a dozen pieces with a lampost.
