Is there a reason? There is so much licensed art to be used I don't understand it.
There was the online card game - Legends, but that shut down.
Short answer, they don't seem to sell well is why.
Didn't know there were that many of them
Usually card games pop up with each movie. And cheap tie ins. They don't seem to be nearly as popular or competitive as say, magic the gathering, pokemon, or Yu-Gi-Oh.
Perhaps if someone took the time to properly design a competitive game. It would take off.
I would even dare say, try the Yu-Gi-Oh approach and tie a cartoon to it.
A card game was made from seibertron.com i think called heavy metal war(best season 1 episode).
Did anyone else pick up that transformers Monopoly game at hascon?
Did they make a card game out of Heavy Metal War at Seibertron? I only remember the web-browser game, which itself was pretty neat at the time.
Im not positive. I didn't look into it much but for what i saw it is hard to come buy, they have tournaments on the site, and they said that the card game came from seibertron.com. I never heard of the web-browser game though. I will check it out.
I've got both of those. Good times.
